The Kelowna Signature Business Connexion (Signature Connexion) has a unique membership platform where Businesses, Business People, and Like Minded Persons can connect personalities, peer introductions, business contacts, and business referrals in a comfortable social atmosphere.
The Signature Connexion was established in July of 2007, with its first Introductory Event held at Woodland Hills, in Kelowna. With the attendance of over 140 guests, it was well recognized that this type of professional business connecting was a viable venture in the Okanagan.
In the first two years of operation, the (then named) Kelowna Signature Business “Network” was targeted as “just another networking group”. As this was certainly not the case, we changed the name from “Network” to “Connexion” in a successful attempt to distance ourselves from the mainstream meaning and overuse of the word Networking. Most “Networking Groups” have standard handshaking, card passing, informal Meet and Greets open to the public. The Signature Connexion prides itself in being a unique membership of high quality Business people specifically targeted to maintain solid integrity throughout the membership. In keeping with this theory, our events are “Invitational Only”.
Our target is quality not quantity.
The Signature Connexion continues to improve, making positive changes to accommodate its growing membership and our changing times. In 2011, the Signature Connexion redesigned and redirected many areas advantageous to the membership. 2012 will be implementing a much more successful approach to benefiting our members.
